DIGITAL DEBIT® ANNOUNCES USPS CRADA PROJECT MILESTONE WITH BRICS PROCESSOR AND USDT CROSS-PLATFORM INTEROPERABILITY FRAMEWORK

New technical architecture connects usps.cash and usps.money with a multi-chain processing layer and proposed USDT corridor for compatible global self-custody wallets.


Chester County, PA., August 10, 2026 - The Digital Debit® Global U.N. Workgroup today announced a technical milestone in Digital Debit’s USPS CRADA project: the introduction of the BRICS Processor and publication of a white paper describing USDT-based interoperability between the usps.money cloud wallet and compatible global self-custody wallet ecosystems.


The initiative brings together three project components:


• usps.cash, the public project and developer-information portal.


• usps.money, a cloud-wallet interface supporting USDC, USDT, USD1, and Ethereum access.


• The BRICS Processor, a headless, multi-chain service designed for asset discovery, wallet-address derivation, balance queries, transaction preparation, controlled signing, and supported-network RPC operations.


The accompanying white paper, “A Dollar-Token Corridor Across U.S. and BRICS Wallets,” outlines a compatibility model in which USDT acts as a common dollar-denominated transfer asset between external self-custody wallets and the usps.money ecosystem.


The proposed user flow is:


Compatible self-custody wallet -> USDT transfer -> usps.money Deposit Code -> usps.money Retail Code and wallet services


BRICS Pay’s public materials describe a self-custody wallet supporting more than 600 digital currencies, send-and-receive functionality, stablecoin conversion, decentralized applications, and WalletConnect. These capabilities make USDT a practical handoff asset for users moving dollar-denominated value between independently operated wallet environments.


The compatibility framework does not require either wallet to surrender custody or replace its existing user experience.


“Global wallet interoperability should give people a controlled way to move dollar-token value across compatible systems without forcing them to abandon the wallet they already use,” said William Grecia of Digital Debit® Group. “Our goal is to pair that flexibility with a clear U.S.-aligned receiving experience, barcode-based retail tools, and an auditable processing layer for institutional development.”


BARCODE-FIRST RETAIL AND DEPOSIT ACCESS


The usps.money experience uses separate wallet codes for distinct functions. Its Deposit Code identifies an inbound wallet destination, while its Retail Code is designed as a consumer-facing payment and point-of-sale interface.


This separation provides a familiar scan-based experience while preserving the blockchain address and network context required for settlement.


The architecture is intended to support:


• Cross-wallet USDT transfers on explicitly supported networks.


• USDC, USDT, USD1, and Ethereum visibility through usps.money.


• Deposit Code and Retail Code workflows for mobile and point-of-sale use.


• API-driven asset queries and transaction preparation through the BRICS Processor.


• Controlled transaction signing, with broadcasting disabled by default unless explicitly authorized.


• Future deployment patterns for commercial AWS regions and appropriately reviewed government-cloud environments.


SUPPORTING A GLOBAL DOLLAR-TOKEN STRATEGY


The white paper identifies USDT interoperability as an immediate technical bridge and USD1 as a potential future U.S.-branded digital-dollar lane.


This staged approach is designed to extend the reach of dollar-denominated liquidity while allowing each participating wallet, institution, and network to retain its own custody, compliance, and operating controls.


For financial institutions and public-sector observers, the architecture offers a concrete development model: external wallets can originate supported dollar-token transfers, the BRICS Processor can provide a standardized technical interface, and usps.money can operate as the barcode-first receiving and retail endpoint.
